Let me just start by saying that Bluefig makes great bags. Designed with crafters and sewers in mind, the bags are strong and beautiful, thoughtfully-designed and just plain fun! While admiring the bags at a trade show I got talking to Will Macia who runs the company. I admired his design sense and the craft of the bags, he admired what the Sewing Machine Project was about and he LOVED our logo. Will suggested that they make some bags that featured our logo–bags that we could give to students in our local classes so they’d have a safe and comfortable way to tote their new machines.
How could I say no?
So our first shipment came about a year ago–8 beautiful cobalt blue bags with our logo stitched on. Following that we received notions bags, once again, with our logo. And most recently, a shipment of cobalt blue and also black sewing machine totes–yep, you guess it–with our logo featured.
What a gift this is to us and to our students! A beautiful tote to keep their new machine safe, a space with lots of pockets for storing projects and supplies.
Bluefig, we are so grateful for your generosity, your creative eye, and your kindness.
I love the bags! How can we get bags for our students?
