I received a huge box yesterday! In it was an old machines, well-used, and beautifully kept. It touched me that someone would part with this machine and donate it to someone who needed it but what touched me even more was the note that accompanied the machine:
Dear new owner of this machine,
I got this sewing machine in 1957 and I had many happy hours of sewing on it. I hope you love it as much as I did.
Happy Sewing from me to thee.
I love the connections we make with others simply through kindness.
